Everything starts with an idea

Recently, we joined an event at Ford Park in Ulverston for an evening supper and slide. Despite encountering technological challenges that night, Joe Lydon, our director, took the opportunity to share insights into the thoughts, ideas, and ethos driving The South Lakes Honey Company.

During his speech, Joe delved into various topics previously covered in our blogs, but he also introduced fresh ideas and subjects not explored before. These concepts reflect our commitment to making a positive impact on both our company and the environment, emphasising not only beekeeping practices but also broader environmental concerns.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who attended, with a special acknowledgment to the Ford Park team for hosting the event and the members whose efforts contributed to creating an enjoyable evening for us.
